But I had thought that The Troubles in Northern Ireland were finished years ago

We drove up the road and saw several cars parked on the side of the road. During our hectic drive we saw many cars parked on the side and termed it “Irish parking” as everyone seemed to park whereever they wanted. Sidewalk, road, grass, it didn’t seem to matter. I figured we’d park like the Irish and save ourselves the 7.00 euro while we saw these majestic sights.

Would we do it again? Heck yah. Do we recommened it to others? Only if you can handle it!! If you get really nervous being in the passenger seat while driving the streets of Canada, then I highly suggest you don’t go for a country drive in Ireland.

Newgrange is best known for the illumination of its passage and chamber by the winter solstice sun. Above the entrance to the passage at Newgrange there is a opening called a roof-box. This baffling orifice held a great surprise for those who unearthed it. Its purpose is to allow sunlight to penetrate the chamber on the shortest days of the year, around December 21, the winter solstice.

In Vancouver, B.C there are hundreds of Starbucks. There are even some locations that are litterally across the street from each other and all of them are busy from opening to close. In Dublin we found something very similar with the Pubs. From any one point we could see at least 1 or pubs unless we were standing in the middle of the suburbs. (where our hostel was) But even then if we just walked about 5 minutes we would once again see a warm inviting sign to come in for a beer.

Today I phoned Flyglobespan.com customer service at +44 141 332 3233 to receive my refund on the extras I paid for tickets and talked to a Charlene in the Glasgow office. I was expecting this to be resolved and to move on, but what I was told that the ONLY way to receive a refund was to mail a letter to Edinburough. I asked for an email address or to talk to someone immediately as I have no fixed address right now, and email or phone is a superior way of communicating as it leaves electronic traces. She checked with her manager Mark and again told me there was absolutely no other way. I asked again. Charlene went on to say that there are no email addresses as they are not an “internet” company, and repeated this several times.
